Hybrid Thick Film Power Resistors – EMS Module Assembly
For this high-power resistor application, BHC provided the electronic manufacturing and hybrid assembly of thick-film power resistor modules used in industrial and energy systems. These resistor modules are designed for high reliability, stable thermal performance and operation under demanding electrical conditions.
The resistor element is manufactured using thick-film resistor technology printed on alumina ceramic substrates, providing excellent electrical insulation and thermal conductivity. A protective glass layer covers the resistor structure, ensuring long-term stability and protection against environmental and mechanical stress.
Through BHC’s Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS), OEM and ODM assembly, the ceramic resistor elements are integrated into aluminum profiles with optimized thermal interfaces. High-temperature soldering and precision mechanical integration ensure stable electrical connections and efficient heat transfer, allowing the modules to operate reliably even under overload conditions.
